Sigano Entertainment is the artist-led event music of Sergio De Gouveia: Spanish guitar, a bilingual DJ, curated ensembles and production, run by the person performing.
Sergio De Gouveia is the founder of Sigano Entertainment and the performer at every Sigano event. A guitarist and bilingual DJ with a degree from Berklee College of Music, he built Sigano to curate and run entire evenings rather than just play them: Spanish and Mediterranean guitar through the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, then a bilingual DJ set when the floor opens.
He has spent over eight years performing at luxury venues across South Florida, including the Four Seasons Surf Club, Fontainebleau Miami Beach, The Ritz-Carlton, The Breakers and The Boca Raton, alongside private clients from Key West to Jupiter. His repertoire runs from rumba flamenca to vintage jazz to Latin, every piece memorized, so he can leave the stage and play through the room when the moment calls for it.
Sigano or Sergio? Both. Sigano is the name on the contract and the invoice. Sergio is the artist you meet on the call, and the one who shows up on the day.
Spanish and Mediterranean guitar for the prelude, processional and recessional, roaming among guests at the cocktail hour, and a bilingual DJ set with every announcement on the mic. Sergio arrives early, sets up out of sight, and reads the room as it fills.
When one guitar is not enough: a duo, a trio, a Latin band, a flamenco group or vintage jazz, recruited and led by Sergio. The musicians change with the brief. The person accountable for the night does not.
A professional sound system scaled to the space, wireless microphones for vows and toasts, ambient and dance-floor lighting on request, and photography and videography sourced and coordinated so the whole evening is covered under one contract.
Sergio performs and MCs in English and Spanish, with songs in Portuguese, French, Italian and beyond. From Paco de Lucía to Celia Cruz in the same set: flamenco, rumba, bossa nova and Spanish-guitar arrangements of the modern songs guests request, followed by a DJ set that moves between languages and eras so every generation stays on the floor.
